| As a mum who’s had children through this service I feel you don’t pay for what you get… More money should go towards the educators though there the only reason people keep bringing their children back! |

| Ridiculous policy’s in relation to COVID. Any sign of a runny nose or a cough and children are sent home even if our children have allergy’s,or teething ect… Waste of money |

| If you paying your fees based on staffing your paying for good quality educators with big hearts. Unfortunately the centre is very old and could use more funding. |

| I find the service very outdated. It lacks funding and the resources and equipment look like they are 30 years old. The service providers have no room for family input and can’t handle any constructive criticism. |

| I am writing this review, as I find this preschool to be very poorly managed, the staff turn over is nothing like iv ever seen before the owners are very rude and disrespectful. They do not take any action when a staff talks to them about being bullied or spoken Down to. The resources are very old and need changing. The food is always the same every day, if there is leftovers from lunch the children will be offered the same for afternoon tea. While they are a 29 place center there is Deffently not enough staff, the children need more supervision. |

Amazing, amazing!
My two children started in 2020, after swapping from another daycare centre. My youngest runs into the room to play, so happy to be with his educators. At his previous school he was constantly unhappy, but the Portside preschool educators have really made a difference for him, and really follow what you want for your child. I am so comfortable leaving my children in their care. My older child loves it so much he requested all his daycare days to be at Portside, he left his friend of 3 years behind to attend Portside, which really shows how much he loves and enjoys it. The educators are thoughtful and kind and I couldn't think of a better place and trust these educators whole heartedly with my children. |

Terrible service to work for. Staff turn over is outrageous. The owners are incredibly money hungry and do not want to improve their centre with the proper resources early childhood need. An absolute nightmare with no structure little programming time and observations were unheard of. The very large outdoor area has so much potential, however 1 staff member monitoring that space is a serious accident waiting to happen. The owners are daft and “bend the rules”. While there are some amazing educators who work there they are being used and not listened to. . ECT’s need to be paid proper wages regardless not at the status of a diploma.
Really sad to have left the children. They deserve so much better. |

I am writing this review so that other parents will not go through what i have for a number of months now. The service is unprofessional in all that they do. The service has out dated, run down equipment that is not age appropriate and learning materials that dates back to the 80s. Meals are not appropriate for a growing child, the service only offers sandwiches for lunch but uses Covid-19 as an excuse for doing so.... if any sandwiches or any food for that matter is left over they offer again for another meal or the next day. The menu is never followed or ever changed. My child has been in attendance since March 2020 and only had 2 observations recorded when i checked in September. I have witnessed a staff member speaking to children in a way that is inappropriate and when complained to the coordinator was not taken seriously. The staff are not caring in any way at all, when i would call via phone to ask how my child was i was spoken in a disrespectful manner and made to feel silly for calling, they have no time for you. I can keep going on and on. The service as mentioned is old and dirty, it is clearly visible that money is not spent on improving the service but more so to fund the two hundred thousand dollar Mercedes Benz the owner drives.
Please do not send your child to this service and allow them to go through what my child has gone through or what i as a parent have gone through.
