I love myy new school! Us year 7’s just got back from camping at the beach and had the best camp!!!! All the activites were fun and I made heaps of new friends. I didnt have many friends in primary school. I haven’t stopped talkin to them all wkend about how much fun we had. Cant wait for more fun games and activites. The year 11’s on camp with us said were lucky because we get to do heaps of fun activites I literally can’t wait Kx

i like my school but the food classes here suck. My friends at other schools always post fotos of wot they cook. We dont coz our food teacher is lazy and keeps saying she doesnt care. She was huge when we started like a size 28 but everyone says she had her stomach stapled so shes about a size 18 now and obvz doesnt want 2 be tempted by food so she doesnt put on more wait so we never cook coz shes lazy and she just makes us do work or watch stuff. Me and my friends didnt pick it coz its been boring They need new food teachers here so we can actually cook instead of the teacher being angry and shopping online when she’s meant 2 teach us. Other than that I rate the school good coz the other teachers are nice n we learn stuff n get to do things. The canteen is pricey and needs 2 b made cheaper coz a yoghurt is like 5 bucks

New and very happy mum. I have twins. Positive and professional dealings with the school. Excellent communication and the staff I’ve dealt with are relational and decent people. Feel safe knowing my girls are being looked after. They love it and are very different girls but it works for them. Thanks for looking after our family. A very relieved and satisfied mum! T x

This is the worst school. I had issues with pretty much every student in my class, and a particular student i had an issue with in particular, i went to the school to talk about it. This student had autisum and the school blames her autism for her behaivour and were not on my side at all. I wend to my house leader and asked to speak with her in private about this student. When the time came to speak to her, the bully i was going to talk about, came too. The house leader told us to both say sorry to eachother, and then made us walk back to class together. everyday i would come from school nearly crying because someone always said something nasty, and the teachers didn't help. Once i finnaly made a friend, we had alot of fun together, and otheer girls gave us mean looks and always judged us for having fun. The principal at the school is lovely, and same as miss p. But since i have left, i have been way more happy.

My daughter hasn’t started here yet but I’m excited for her too. I went to school here and it’s changed massively. Fantastic facilities and warm staff who seem like decent people. I hope she likes it as much as I did but it certainly is different. Happy the school has a fantastic reputation out there because hubby wanted to send her to St ignatius but changed his mind after hearing from our friends that they have just started there Children here and could not be happier. Great rep for kildare out there at the moment

We are parents and cannot speak highly enough of this school. The communication and amount of care at this school compared to my daughters primary school is second to none. She loves it and has made many friends. Good programs subjects and there’s always something on. We came with other primary school families and the discipline and mental Heath support here is outstanding. My daughter tells me they don’t let anyone get away with issues and the teachers are always checking things. The staff we met are friendly and supportive people we walked out feeling good after our appointment School has fantastic facilities the gym is huge and the new science building is really out there and something the other schools we toured didn’t have.100% satisfied with kildare

Increibly satisfied and happy proud parent, Loads of opportunities, great facilities the new building is out there and loads of activities at this school. My Girl is having more fun in high school than she did in primary school during Covid. Can’t believe some of the activities she gets to do. Didn’t get that in my time at a Gov school but exited for her. The kids missed loads with Covid it’s nice 2 see the school giving them time 2 have fun and be kids. Professional and thorough leadership that really care about my girl. Any time I’ve had a question or contacted I’ve had a quick response from personable staff. Nothing is 2 hard when I contact. Not just a number here I feel like they take time to get to kno parents. Always greeted with a friendly hello and my name. Don’t know how they remember everyone!! Best of all My Girl has fun while shes learning. First time she’s had so many friends 2. Her primary school did nothing when there was a problem but this school is quick to shut down stuff. Word going around at Sat sport is The kids are kept in line and pulled up on stuff , good 2 c discipline is still around. Great culture for the kids to come to everyday I’m a happy proud parent well done kildare

My husband and I loved this school as soon as we walked in. Our first daughter started this year after hearing about it from other families at our primary school. Our girls never been happier. From when we first came to now shes come out of her shell massively. Her friends are all nice no issues there they seem happy. Staff seem nice and personable. Always a very warm friendly cohesive leadership team when we’ve come to school events who have a good dynamic. They look like they have a good grasp of what younger girls need and looks like they really care about the kids. Communication is fantastic as a busy parent. Highly rate this school! The best so far out of all of my kids schools. Glad we chose here over St Pauls for our daughters.

This school does not help with students' development and ignores students' different paces with learning, they stress and overload students with work and easily become mad when they are stressed and aren't able to finish assignments. So many teachers have favorites and they have a large social circle in which they gossip about other staff who work there, and they rarely are able to fix other student's problems. They are overly strict with piercings and threaten detention the first time seeing someone having a piercing, which is severely overreacting. Some teachers just make it their whole job to try and give detention to anyone for a simple piercing, or any type of jewelry. The school counselors barely listen and they end up telling your parents about what you discussed PRIVATELY with them, which can cause more issues for that student at home. They get mad when students are caught up to date with the hard work and overly complicated maths. Teachers have a short tempers and will constantly snap at the smallest things and cause stupid arguments, especially the English teachers which are so up their arse that they think they are better than everyone else. The religion teachers become overly offended when you aren't religious or you are in a different religion, in which they discriminate against you. The food at the canteen and the vending machine is overly overpriced, I understand that Rory's lunches is a separate business, however, they need to lower the prices on their menus as it makes it hard for people to afford to eat lunch for a salad which you could get for $2, which would cost $6. The food quality is piss poor and sometimes the food comes out soggy or raw. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting and are rarely cleaned out properly, they cleaners do a minimum amount to clean them (I can understand since they're underpaid) however they keep on spending their money on useless projects rather than fixing and renovating certain parts of the school. As well as on days which are overly hot or cold, they force students to sit outside while they drink their hot coffee in the staff room. This includes full on storms in which students have to find cover outside, in the rain. Generally I would not recommend this school as I have left recently and it is a poor waste of money.

My daughter suffered at the hands of these people in 2021 and the supposed leader of the senior school tried it cover it up and turn a blind eye despite seeing other kids seeing it all unfold. It just needed to be called but she pretended she didnt see it. Now we’ve tried to move on but they keep pushing. They made a better choice getting rid of certain staff member but plz don’t make the same mistakes with my next one and pick problems when you had bigger problems to deal with and didn’t. Learn from the past. If you look hard the same person you got rid of was involved in all your mistakes all the way back to where it started. Learn from the past and let’s all move on without the drama

I’m a massively thankful and happy parent! Love this school!!! My girl has had more ups than downs in her 2 yrs and we cant be more thrilled. Wish we did half the fun things she does in my time can’t believe what they get to do in class and out of the class. Facilities are state of the art. We have found the Staff team is friendly and quick to get back. Highly Recommend this school to allour friends and relatives. The leadership here are givin our girls everything and we can see they care loads about our kids. Thank u leadership from a very happy family ox

Our daughter is finishing her 1st year of high school and we really cant thank the school enough. She has loved her 1st year at kildare. We feel hugely included in her school life and we have a very happy settled girl at home who has gone from having one friend to many. Shes a completely different kid to the shy unsure girl we had in primary school. She loves Kildare and told us tonight she doesn’t want holidays. Floored us. Thankyou for bringing out the best in her Tina Neat and your year 7 team. All our dealings have been positive and thorough. A few of us came from the same Ps, we knew there was something different about this place and weve been proven right. We had our Ps bbq picnic on Sunday and we agreed the care and support network at kildare is unbelievable

They kick anyone out before year 12 if they don’t have high enough grades to keep their 100% SACE scores instead of helping student improve. Principle is a fool for trying to make excuses for mean staff she put in jobs they couldn’t do because they are fake to her and pretend and she falls for it. Good for the next years coming up to graduate that they wont have to put up with favoritism, gossiping about how bad leadership is and someone who doesn’t care about us but shame on the principle for not realizing this sooner so we couldve had a decent year 12. She should’ve learnt last yr. Parents were saying the Best part was the dinner coz we finally left and made it out and my parents are happy the next years won’t have to put up with the same crap from fake staff. All our parents and teachers saw nothing being done and we all talked about it this year. Finally there might b a change for the next grads. The 1 good thing the principle did to get back her reputation with our parents.

This is the worst possible school you could ever send your daughter to. They talk down to you and kick people out to keep their SACE scores high. They don't try and teach properly they just kick you out to keep their reputation good. They have favorites and if your not one of their favorites you get in trouble for everything. If they don't like you they will try and dig up anything on you so they can expel you. I am moving to a public school soon and honestly I feel like its going to be better. They don't care about students acting out because of their mental health they just want them out of the school to keep their reputation upholded. they care more about uniform then why the student cannot wear their uniform (money problems, not being able to afford a new jumper) please dont send your daughters here.

Im a new grandparent and love this school. Came along to the school tour and we knew it was the right fit. I follow the schools Facebook profile and can’t believe how much they offer to the girls. She is always doing something interesting or going somewhere exciting. The music night was something else. School certainly has changed and become more enjoyable since my day!!!! My granddaughter is very content… we say she blossomed this year. Sincere thanks. Id be delighted to attend other school events. Keep it up.

I came to Kildare on a College Tour and was so impressed with the facilities and environment of the school. The new Tullow Centre is especially a wonderful space with so many options for the students to learn - I was impressed with the woodwork area and auditorium space. Looking forward to seeing how Kildare develops over the years to come!

this school is pretty good in the younger year levels. they work on looking good to the new parents and the younger kids get heaps of opportunities. but in the senior years, they will try to kick you out if they don’t think you’re good enough. that’s their secret to their 100% SACE completion every year. they really don’t care about the experience or education of the senior students. only what outside people will perceive of the school and the profit they can make

I have to say my little girl started there this year and what a huge difference in only a few months. She hated primary school last year and is a different girl this year she loves school her friends and the fun. Her outside sports friends came to Kildare so we thought we would give it a go….it’s the best decision we’ve ever made for her. The other sports mums agree it seems to be a friendly happy safe place for the girls. Big thing for us is my daughter never felt she mattered in primary school but she she feels cared for here I can’t believe the level of care and communication compared to her PS

Sad to read the reviews on this page but makes me feel better about our decision to move my daughter and leave. Not the same feeling it had when we started but it was a good school for her for many years and she loved the school until recent months. My daughter is leaving after doing most of high school here and taking a risk to finish yr 12 at another school for better experiences. Often hear her and her friends talking about how unhappy disconnected and unsatisfied the other students are with their graduating yr experience and they’re scared itll be the same for their turn. Its sad to see because we never ever imagined wed leave.

Completely agree with the last review. The principle needs to listen to our girls and make the big changes soon. She knows the kids have told her for a while they’re not happy with some staff. Kildare isn’t the same way it used to be we loved it and felt like we knew the people in the important jobs many years ago when my first daughter finished. We don’t hear anything from them now or think much of them. Wouldn’t know them from a bar of soap and we aren’t impressed with what we have heard happened from last year. Our first daughter had a better experience finishing years ago, the last couple of years have been a shambles. I only hear my next daughter and her friends complain that it’s boring dead and there’s no care and no one is doing anything about it. Friends at other schools have heard what happened last year and told us at sport. Hope my girl doesn’t go through the same horror stories we have all heard from the last year. Completely disconnected and disgusted. They need some fresh life in the big jobs the reputation of the school is nosediving fast. Concerned kids and other parents who aren’t happy but we cannot see any change from the top. Hope someone reads this and does the right thing by us. Some normal teachers are all g but we have been stuck with staff that are bullies and don’t really care. Plz don’t put us through or give us the same mean stuff the last years of yr 12’s have had to deal with. We want a better final year than they all got. We deserve it and so did the other girls. We want staff that really care ans we can trust coz we can’t trust who is there at the moment. they are sooo fake to us and fake to you and then it looks really bad on the school. They pretend not to see us or pretend they don’t know about any problems so they don’t have to help us coz they are so lazy. The school has to fix this and change its staff so that the bad vibe changes in us older levels. no one talks anymore and there’s no connection. It’s boring as. Plz be brave and give us someone we actually like and can go to and who really cares about us. No offense but it’s the truth and every one knows it. been a parent here for a few yers and hear my daughter and her friends saying no one cares and well-being doesn’t exist last couple of years. the kids dont trust some staff they are meant to go to because they make it clear they dont care and are fake. My kids told me other students have complained about the staff but the principle doesn’t ever listen to the kids and make changes because she believes the fakeness of the staff in leadership rolls so the students choose to leave instead. Some teachers in coordinator jobs here are huge bullies. Theyre mean, bossy and talk down to us. They dont care about us kids they only want to look good to the principle but their ruining her reputation and her school because she can’t see what their doing. Not overly impressed by the school in the last two years as parents. Don’t feel connected to the school and have heard bad things happened with staff and students at the school, doesn’t look good for the top. My daughter is in yr 11 and has come home complaining school is boring she doesn’t feel happy and wants to leave all I hear is her and her friends saying the younger kids are lucky they get to do fun things but they have had nothing and it’s boring. We go here and hate it. The drama bad feel and gossip has been constant for years and none ever does anything about it. Only if your a favorite. None really listens, we just get told off without being able to speak. Hate it. When teachers tell you off they blame the deputy and principle. The girls talk about each other and the teachers talk bad about other teachers and the principles and they are meant to be in high roles. Bad place to be

My daughter started high-school this year. We had the family connection meeting tonight and we are impressed by our experience so far. All communications have been positive clear and reassuring for us as new parents at the school. Our daughter is very happy there which is a relief. The videos of the principal Tina and her co-team tonight were professional with happy energy. The principal and her middle school assistant look really genuine, caring and appealing. Its helpful when a school knows their stuff and you feel valued. Our daughter is in safe hands. Thank-you Tina!!!!

As someone who has attended two others schools during their academic journey, I feel that Kildare has by far been the best suited school to my personal needs. Disgusting behavior from a specific employee. Went to an event with other families last night and the topic of conversation from our kids was the unprofessional disgusting behavior of a certain staff member who acted unprofessionally with the students. Not fit for the job. Found out all our daughters across our families are massively unhappy with what happened last year. Wide knowledge that she talks bad about the students and other personnel. How can leadership let this repeatedly happen at a religious school and by someone in her type of job? We have lost complete trust in Kildare after hearing this. Unacceptable and upsetting to hear our kids are unhappy .. it used to be a good school when me and my wife chose it going back a few years. Long time families are looking at other options. Couldn’t help our older kids but won’t be letting our next round of kids be unhappy when they get to the higher years. Fix your unprofessional nasty staff and school!! It makes leadership look very bad. Its out there it is damaging your reputation. Come on Kildare! You were better then this!!!!!

Bad school, if you want your daughter to succeed at this school makes sure that they don’t have anyone in their year write racial slurs on the bathroom walls which happened in 2021 and make sure that they join the year 8 fight club. They might get suspended or expelled but they won’t be messed with. Also, you really don’t want to mess with neat. She is useless

This is a great place for all the favourites at this dump. Teachers at this school overreact to the tiniest of things and give out unfair punishments for them. But when it comes to more severe and illegal things, they couldn't care less. But what makes it so stupid is that when students or parents complain and tell others about how the school screws up everything, the teachers get all angry and demand students and parents to stop voicing their concerns to the community when they could have done the right thing in the first place. Some people!

Thank you Kildare College for all that you have done for my daughter. My daughter graduated last week and we could not be happier. They supported, helped and encouraged her every step of the way. We are more than happy with all that she has experienced during her 5 years.

Yes, academic awards depend on favoritism and they had appreciate bullies as compassionate students.
This is totally favoritism.
Vice principal is the main problem in this all discrimination situations. This is very shameful.

I am very dissapointed in this school. The canteen is ridiculously overprised and they don't care about the students wellbeing. They don't even have a proper math program and the teachers have favourites. All they care about is their reputation.

I agree with the comment below me. The vice principal is the one who is endorsing this kind of behaviour. I know many parents who have moved their daughters out of this place. School tours are just a big facade and you shouldn't believe their lies. They only act like this because they want your money. Every advertisement and billboard is made to be perfect looking but the inside of the school itself is absolute garbage. The management is appalling.

I am currently a parent at Kildare and I only have incredible things to say about the school. It is caring, has great results and has the student at the heart of everything that they do. The school is not afraid to make tough decisions and sometimes this can be challenging for some families. My family and many other families love the school. My recommendation would be to go on school tour first and then make up your own mind, rather than reading these reviews as they do not reflect this school. I would highly recommend the Kildare to others.

this school is very bad they don't have clean toilets they have a lot of drama and teachers are not good except for maybe one or two but the rest have favourites and don't care about any of the other students and they don't care about your wellbeing

My daughter started this year at Kildare ,as she was in another high school last year. She was so unhappy at her school last year. Since starting Kildare I have noticed such a shift in attitude with my daughter .She is so much happier and settled . She feels so supported and nurtured within the Kildare community. The teachers are very helpful she has said.

I am currently a student and the school is amazing. I feel like I have a say in lots of subjects, a lot of the teachers are nice and are willing to help students when they need it. Our school is getting bigger but many teachers are here to help us. I would recommend this school to everyone and I am proud to be a Kildare student.

Kildare is an incredible and I can't believe these reviews. I have two daughters currently at Kildare and they are so well looked after in every aspect. The facilities continue to improve each year and as a family we couldn't be happier.

The school is ok ecept for when teachers favour students which has happend in nearly all of my class. Also you have to do all the subjects in year 7 and 8, they dont understand that some of the students dont like certain subjects such as dance or drama. The teacher also focou on certain students and realy help me with my learning even if i ask. the school is also seperating from saint pauls meaning for people who ebjoyed doing metal work and thos things wont be able to till the finish this new hub thing which is not going to fit in with the school at all. If you sent your daughter here you have been warned and if she does go here you hope she is a student who is one of the teachers favourites or the teacher will just ignore her problem like mine. Other then thats its an ok school

My daughter went there 10 years ago and was taken out due to severe bullying by students and teachers and we were literally told its my daughter with the problem. Always been a terrible school, I know lots of people who have pulled their daughter out, I don’t recommend at all!

My daughter is a student, her maths teacher this year is actually an English teacher who asks the brighter students in the class how they got their answer and they have to teach him. During the Coronavirus while she studied from home her English teacher would only sometimes answer her emails and when she did was extremely vague, seems like she doesn't care. Now halfway through year 11 when she has selected her subjects for SACE year 11 ans 12 they have told her they wont have the extra subjects at St Pauls because they wont be affiliated with St Pauls from next year, this will make subject choice at Kildare much smaller from next year. Wouldn't recommend.

i used to go here but i left resently. i was in kildare house and nobody listened to me when i asked for help or showed they cared. she doesnt care unless your her favourite student and she only gossips about all the other teachers with the kids and all the girls in kildare house know it and its so bad. she talks about everyone and always looks annoyed. was double faced. my parents arent happy with her either because she never let them know about stuff or got back to them. would always walk passed me and look away or pretend im not ther because she cant be bothered unless she has to. she shouldnt be in the roll. i wouldv stayed if i had a different person to go to and more support like my firends.

Have to agree with By Student. My daughter has had to deal with bullying at this school since yr 9. Some teachers have been quite rude.
