Principal has double standards with his staff. He hires all relatives. Double standard when enrolling students. More islamic teachers should be enrolled to promote an islamic environment for the students. All about punishment and behaviour policies. Principal should stop micromanaging everything teachers do and give them their integrity and autonomy they deserve. It may looks like a wonderful, well built school from the outside, until you see what is on the inside. No mercy at this school for teachers no to students!

Ok- wth is with the bad reviews, ICOM is literally doing everything for their students, like there's a drama class and we have well-being activities now. Yes, some of the students may be rude but that's their problem and it usually goes away when they get older. That one review by a 'parent' hey kiddo, get off this website and go get scammed in adopt me. Don't act like the whole world is against you because your teacher yelled at you for not submitting your homework, and stop asking your parents for grammatical help and learn instead. Anyways, this school is pretty good, one thing I didn't like is the year 6 sap test, which is $82.50. Pretty expensive and it's not even a guarantee. I understand sap is important but financial issues are also important. And homework overloads are also a problem. But insha allah these things will be fixed. The School's developed quite a lot. Pretty good school.

This new school booklist system is not right. You can't not let the parents cross off anything. Not all families have enough money to waste for this new scam. This is an absolute scam. There is a new school that has opened up right next to this one and I hope it does much better than ICOM. Just because you are the only islamic school in the area, have n competition and a few people waiting to get in, it doesn't mean that you are some big thing. The level of education is no where near the levels of top class schools. They can't be compared to top class schools. They use the excuse of development but no one asked for so much development. All we ever wanted was a school that would teach my children the basics of Islam. Just because the school looks good, doesn't mean it is good. Along with that, the fees is going up every year and the uniform is extremely expensive. This school started very well but over the past few years I have seen that it has become much more greedy and selfish. This needs to stop. Stop raising prices for useless reasons. The only way you can describe this is as a scam. Please take these changes into consideration. My children do love this school, but if you keep on raising the prices like this, most families will take their children out of the school. For the benefit of the school, please do not make things unnecessarily expensive. You can start by removing the new book list rules for primary where you can't cross off anything. Jazakallah.

i would like to say as a parent of kids that have been going to ICOM since prep that i am very pleased with everything that Icom stands for.The teachers do their best, the current principal to me and my family is a role model very educated man both in Deen and Dunya.He will be forever in my prayers and wish the best for this school. If people have nothing good to say i suggest you keep silent .

My kids go to this school my child just stared vce and beaucse my child did not come to school first 3days one of the teachers moved her from one subject to another with authorsd by the student knowledge or parents after they payed for the subject book that the student chose the parent went to the school and ask how can you move my child with out us knowing she did not care at all and she stared to make stupid excuses very bad school it’s like a zoo in there

This is an okay school filled with great people and staff. The staff are usually reasonable however the are some well let's say bad teachers. The education is mediocre and on level but in math there is no one on year 9 topics apart from me.

This school is not as bad as most people make it seem so don't dissuaded from checking it out. The teachers are ok excluding the English department while the students seem to get along and bullying seems to be absent from what I see. I'm not really sure if it is worth it for people with go out of their way to enter but if you put the time and dedication I'm sure you will succeed here.

This school needs to be shut down because of the principal. He is nothing but an uneducated arrogant piece of shit that needs to pull his head out of his ass and learn how to run a school, treat his staff and speak to parents. He employs his relatives and he doesn’t give other educators an opportunity.

This school is a very bad school they let students know that there r not good enough to stay at the school coz of their grades they will kick them out from year 10 and year 9 and the student will have to leave all there friends that they grew up together and the would tell the you can’t do vce here so you pay for a private education through out the years then they will tell you sorry ur son or Dougther can’t do year 11 or 12 here coz we don’t have time under grade and don’t offer help to help students these they just tack ur money and if ur late for the school The school fees they tell ur kids don’t come tomorrow

In sha Allah we are returning back to Melbourne from KSA this coming July. My kids are 4 sons (14 , 13 , 9 and 7 yrs old) and one daughter is 12 years old>>> is it possible for them to enroll within our arriving time>>> and how much the cost if it is possible and the closest living area to the school and close to public transportation and markets since I have no car
we have Australian passports (Australian citizen) and my five children are:
1) Mujaddid Feda' Ali born on 10/5/2004 need to go to year 9
2) Murabit Feda' Ali born on 16/9/2005 need to go to year 8
3) Tarteel Feda' Ali born on 15/3/2007 need to go to year 7

Icom is an amazing school with really good staff especially the teachers and the principal. I have 4 children at the school in primary and secondary and couldn't be happier with all of them. When mr Abdul started as a principal and brought ms Fatima the head of primary and dr Eid the head of secondary with him, the school improved so much.
I laugh when i read what some haters are talking about “money hungry principal” !! lol, as if the principal is taking the money to himself. Despite the school fees being the lowest for any private school in victoria ($1800 for primary and $2150 for secondary per year), the shcool facilitates are better than grammar schools with brand new buildings and improvements every year.
The long waiting list to the school enrollments speaks for itself and for the success of the school. Go Icom, we the real parents are always behind you.

This school is okay the education is average but I always hear my parents talking about how high the fees is the principle is rude and a bit money hungry I guess he started spending more of it until he saw how the reviews were coming out, some teachers are not nice one even kicked me because she was picking me but I was looking the other way. I’m going to year 7 I hope it is not as bad as it was last year. I hope the principle lowers the fees I don’t want my parents struggling to pay the fees for five kids.

I worked there few times as a casual teacher its really not good school to go.No help for teachers to deal with behavior issues I am not very impressed by the principle itself.

Its an ok school, but my problem is the principle I just don't feel like he ever has anytime for any issues that the parents have, and my biggest issue at that school is the PARKING!! at least fix the muddy path that we have to drive on, I mean you make enough money to be able to do that, also I think the teachers don't care about the childern especially the yard duty teachers and the after school teachers kids are just running around out of control, childern need to learn respect

i regret the day I sent my child here.... They are the most un professional un organised school I have ever came across, my son was bullied by his own teacher. She managed to send him home every day in tears. because of her he hates school and guess what???? It's only been the first term of prep.... Biggest advice to give all parents out there stupidly thinking of sending there kids hereDONT YOU DARE... Biggest rip off and your child will learn absolutely nothing. Now I've pulled my poor child out and hes had to start all over again trying to settle into a new school and make new friends. People write bad reviews for a reason, do not ignore it. I am a practicing student teacher who had the extraordinary pleasure of sitting my 4 week placement at ICOM. My first impression was utter shock at the level of discipline and organization that exists within the school. Not only does ICOM boast a diverse range of student and teacher backgrounds but also excels in catering for various student needs. There is an unbelievably strong relationship between staff members and students that underscores the closely knitted family-style values that exist within the Muslim community. I've had such a pleasure in my experience and sincerely recommend this school for your children. The modern, technology-rich teaching practices in the school serves to dispel common stereotypes about Islamic schools, placing ICOM on par with some of the most elite schools in Victoria. Keep up the excellent work ICOM!

It was brought dads attention ( who owns the canteen ) of one of the reviews that was posted on our behalf . The post has nothing to do with us nor was it posted by us so just wanted to set that straight all the family go to that school , if we had this problem with the school our kids sure wouldn't be attending this school . We're do I start if we all return to the Sunnah of the Quran it mentions as Muslim we shouldn't be greedy we must care and love one another help all out there ! Not in this school forget the part were it's such an unorganised school English teaching is one of the worst an so on , the so called dr who is the principal at the school but please you can not call him principle must refer to him as a dr loll aragence right there :/ is one of the biggest fraud money hungry evil guy kicks out a 60 year old man who put all his money hard work to establish the canteen , once the principle saw that the canteen was making money decides to be greedy and wants it for himself ! Mind you a few weeks ago they extended the lease for him . What was the purpose of that ! The most coward part and the part that fumed me was the principal waited yesturday for my dad to pay him the rent waited till my dad drove off and gave him the call you no longer have this canteen wasn't even man enough to tell him face to face what a coward so called educated and what a good Muslim he is this school should be shut down their concern isn't the children it's only about money I know alot of teachers who have left and will never go back to teaching at that school . I use to be a student, I love this school a lot but there are problems. If u can make a good friend circle and choose to do the right things then you can enjoy this school. Great School, The policies are strict which creates good dicipline.
The education is only getting better.
For secondary they offer two teachers per class per subject for better support and one on one learning.
The facilities are great too.
