I am a student in year 6 and I love the school. The school provides for those who are intellectually advanced and those who require more assistance. It is a small school, but has its advantages. The teachers know the students more personally and the staff care and appreciate everyone. I experience bullying due to my race when I was younger, but the principal would personally meet with me weekly to discuss what I could do to improve my social life. This is the only primary school I have attended and I believe it is an amazing school. My teacher is an outstanding teacher and provides for people like me and my friends, and for those less enthusiastic about learning. He has a way of negotiation the outcome, for example he will the unwilling students the first two parts of the day to learn and the last part to enjoy and relax them-selves. There are many opportunities at this school and I can say this because I have experienced it my-self. Unfortunately, this years winter camp was cancelled due to covid-19. I was fortunate enough to take the selective high school test, and I was granted a position at St George Girls High School. This is the result of a fantastic education at this fine primary school. The teachers cater and adapt to all situations and they interact and contact parents constantly. We have many leadership roles, sport positions, public speaking representatives, dance group, choir and many more extra curriculum based activities. Staff take on social problems face to face and condemn bullying. Teachers are open, kind and care for their students. They can take a laugh but when it comes to education they are firm. Volunteers ,part of our P&C (Parents and community) are key to our schools development as they hold countless fundraiser for our school. They are respected and loved by all in our school. I oppose the comments of these 2 parents as the school is amazing, and we children are not getting educated for our parents, we are getting educated for our futures. Thus, this school is unsurpassed by none, and this is from the vice-captain of the school.

It's just bad education

The Principal does not apply any authority or control over children with any kind of behavioural or learning issues. They seem to selectively choose who and why disciplanary actions are taken on. They dont address issues relating to bullying, or its the person being bullied that is either removed or dealt with. Nor do volunteers receive a great deal of loyalty or recognition. Most children from all ages are and do not progress and learn in accordance to their age/class as of that of the national standard.
