So much to offer in terms of curriculum, an abundance of areas for children to play, fabulous caring experienced teachers. The Principal really sincerely cares about the students and always interacts with the students on a weekly basis if not daily. The school has a wellbeing AP with an overarching role to equip the students with resources; assistance emotionally, academic assistance via aides if required and assistance to access a variety of resources- speech pathology, occupational therapists..... It has an added feature of a Science room with an experienced Science teacher, PE, Art, Mandarin as a language on line program, a kitchen program and a garden program where students grow own crops to use in the kitchen program.
The parent community are wonderful and run a Parents program with meetings each month for those who wish to be involved. An amazing before and after care program which runs on during holidays for working parents. The program has been run by an experienced coordinator and staff whom have been associated with the school for over 15 years.A school council which is a forum for discussions and decision making by parents and staff. The school runs a school production bi annually and many other events throughout the year. A transition program runs for all kinder students and families wanting to get a feel of the school. Once enrolled an amazing group of Teachers, Principal and Ap run a transition program over 4 weeks as well as 2 orientation days so the kinder students are really familiar with the school and their teacher before they commence. A transition program runs at the end of the year over 3 weeks for all other levels to have an insight into their next year level too. The grade 6 teachers liaise with the secondary school for a smooth transition as well.
