As an active indigenous father who lives in Modbury and works in Unley travel the logistics of travel were impractical. My child is diagnosed with autism spectrum and had anxiety at the thought of going to this school. But Lyndsey still enrolled her. Since being at this school my child is having huge behavior issues, struggling with anxiety, stress and has been forced to deal with many other kids with behavior issues even to the point of physical bullying . Sadly my child is a completely different person. Along with this I have to travel an extra 250km per week, has to reduced my business, costs me much more in fuel, quality time with my kids reduced due to travel and I am unable to be involved with my childs schooling. They cannot give my child the support she needs and they have no indigenous awareness or support. Their lack of support for an indigenous father trying to be involved with his child is absolutely disgusting and embarrassing. This low quality school and its lack of morale and integrity are an embarrassment to the education system. | | |
