Important Landmark On The Market

In 1898 the Wine Hall was built and commenced business in 1900 operated by Henrick Kruse. The business sold in 1921 to Mr & Mrs Robertson and it continued operation until 1924 when Mrs Robertson, upon surrendering the licence, ran a sweet shop/milk bar with adjacent Tea Rooms on the ground floor.
