Planted in 2004 and with first vintage harvest in 2006 this fastidiously maintained Vineyard and Olive Grove has been producing a very high quality of grapes that is both profitable and sought after. With a total land area associated with this Lot of 10.739HA and only approximately 2HA of area currently being used there is a grand scope for expansion and most of this raw land is very suitable for more Vineyard and Olive cultivation. With an elevated Northerly aspect offering protection from the cool southerlies its prime position will please all knowledgeable viticulturists.
The vineyard consists of approximately 9000m2 of vines separated into 25 rows of 3 different varieties which are: 11 Pinot Noir, 11 Riesling and 3 Riesling.
- Vineyard yields for the last 4 years have varied from 5.9 tonnes to a high of 11.9 tonnes
- The vineyard and olives have history of heavy fertiliser and the wastewater irrigation contains useful amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus and a spectrum of trace elements.
- The current Vineyard is naturally healthy as its fortunate enough to receive good air movement and water drainage.
