The firm was established in 1872 by William Simpson and he was joined by his son J.W.A Simpson. Since that time, the eldest sons have followed their father's footsteps into the family real estate business. More recently, the principal of the firm, Darrell Simpson was joined by his son Richard Simpson, the fifth generation of Simpson to work in the firm since its inception. W.B.
