All they did for property management was to deposit rent money into the bank account. The tenants absolutely trashed the the house when they left. It was left in a poor condition and yet Harcourts Carrum Downs put it as wear and tear. They never blamed the tenant. Finally we kicked Harcourt Carrum Downs out and got the house renovated. Everyone including the renovators and the neighbours and other property agents who had a look at the house told us the previous tenants were running drug lab in the house. So much for the inspection conducted by Harcourts Carrum Downs. They were still supporting the tenants and calling all the damage caused as 'wear and tear'. The damage included a garden shed which was blown off. Both the tenant and Harcourts Carrum Downs should have been reported to the cops. They are one of the worst property agent in Australia. I think Harcourts Carrum Downs can only lease out properties to Drug peddlers / maunfacturers. Good luck to all the lanlord who have leased out their properties through Harcourts Carrum Downs.

I happened to visit my friend when she was about to vacate the property. The condition of the property was absolutely pathetic. The shed, kids play house, basket ball net, part of the fence destroyed. The walls had stain and scratch marks, flyscreens damaged and taken out. I asked my friend how she could hand over the property in this condition. She had not paid a months rent either. She moved out and all that the owners got was the bond money which covered the default rent. I enquired and she informed the property manager took care of her case. I feel bad for the owners who will have to spens atleast $10,000 to get it back inot shape.
