We went through almost everything the previous reviewer had gone through because of this selfish, incompetent real estate company. They are conniving and will try to screw you out of your bond money in any way possible. They will try to enforce things in the lease agreement that legally go against the Tenancy Act. They will inspect the property after you move out without you present, even when they promise to call you so you could be present. Then they will claim your bond money due to wear and tear and claim the house is dirtier than it actually is. They are extremely dodgy and do not care about their tenants at all. They will make your life a living hell as long as it's for their gain. If you've fallen into their trap, protect yourself with the Tenants Union of Victoria to find out if what they are forcing you to agree with is legal or not. Or if you feel they are unreasonable, dispute them by referring to the union. If you have not dealt with them before, then like the previous review advised, avoid them at all cost. every person I've dealt with at this agency has been either rude or incompetent. Put us through several months of inconvenience by trying to sell the property out from under us while we were still under lease, forcing two open houses per week while we were still living there.
Did not care how much or how often they put us out, the owner has a horrible attitude toward tenants.
After we were finally driven out of the apartment Galldon tried to extort us out of our bond claiming that our thoroughly cleaned apartment wasn't clean to their standards and wanted two hundred dollars for a professional cleaning crew.
Absolute scam artists. Avoid at all costs. | | |
