This school is honestly shit. People are constantly bullied and there is nothing done about it. Some of the teachers can be nice but other than that they are all hypocrites! We are not able to enjoy lunch time activities and have to sit on the grass and do nothing. We are unable to play sports or games at lunch and if we do our possessions are taken away. If you want to play sports after school there are many opportunities but the coaches do not teach you and the buses that take you for away games aren’t even considered a bus, they leave the door open while driving and always seem to break down. We don’t even have our own bus line because the school spent/wasted 44 million dollars on a ugly building that we’re not even allowed in. I am so disappointed with this school, I though it would be great.

This is a school that is great for those who are after a privet school as a low coast. However as the saying says if it’s cheap then it’s for a reason. St Rita’s is full of nasty girls, horrible teachers and a bad staff hierarchy. I’m glad I’m not there anymore and would never recommend this school to anyone. 100% below the belt.

this school is amazing. I would recommend to anyone that is searching for a school for their daughter who has an interest in sport, academics or the arts. St Rita's facilities are incredible and I am so glad that I am able to be lucky enough to go there.

I honeslty have mixed feelings about this school.
Pros- some of the teachers were great, good values and ethics, high quality facilities, the head office take complaints by students seriously and work hard to rectify them,they instilled lots of great morals into me and I feel happy to tell people I went there.
Cons- the advice the counselor gave me while having dealing with trauma actually went on to make issues worse and I am now undoing the damage in my mid 20s, I remembwr I went to class and asked "too many questions" the teacher called my mum and asked her to get me a tutor, everyone at this school has a private tutor, it's expected by the teachers, 1 teacher laughed at me in front of the whole class when I told him what school I had gone to previously, I was 14yrs old. The teachers, don't always remember your name because the school is so big.
I have lots of moments at the school which were less than satisfactory but academics wise it's a good school. There is a general lack of empathy, or human element to the school but I think it prepares students for the real world. Would I send my kids to this school? I am undecided, probably not.

I am a student here and i am trying to leave because i honestly don’t like this school it isn’t for me . there have been multiple cases of bullying and multiple bad teachers in the sense that they come late to class and are in many bethel arguments with the girls . i’m just trying to get away .

I was bullied here for years and brought it to the attention of the head of house, counselor, vice principal and principle many many times and nothing was done about it at all. I left the school very unhappy and performing poorly academically.

I am a recent parent. I was so happy to have a place in the school initially. My daughter really enjoyed it up to year 10. This school should be doing much better than it does academically. As they pride themselves on academic achievement the results don't show this. Teachers should be doing more, going that extra mile, stay after school to tutor. ( like neighbouring boys schools). Teachers do play favorites. The marking is very hard and not consistent in some subjects with the marking of other schools, this is to the detriment of the girls. There is a lot of pressure on the girls to perform but the school /teachers need to support. Teachers have it lucky to have a job there. Dale Morrow is a strong female role model and really believes in the girls. Some of the staff in management under her are very harsh with discipline on trivial behaviour. This just wears the girls down. Girls are lovely, grounds are beautiful as are all private northside Catholic schools. On a positive note, Im sure most girls would do well in their lives after attending this school.

This school is not owned by the Presentation Sisters. It has no jurisdictional governance complicit with Brisbane Catholic Education. It is administered by Trustees of the Mercy Sisters by a myriad web of corporate entities. Beware the uninitiated. High staff turnover, dubious recruitment policies and interested inly in the $ under the guise of being egalitarian.

What is said and what occurs are two different things. Some staff need a reality check. A lot of student vilification for little rational reason.

I loved my school. Like all things you get what you give. I had strong female role models which became very important as I entered the workforce. Yes it is academic and this meant we didn't settle for mediocrity when it came to our work. The teachers are incredibly hard working.

I really enjoyed St Rita's; excellent facilities and teachers. However I do recognise that it does not cater to everyone. It is an academic school that caters for music and social justice very well, however is limiting in its sporting opportunities. Although this is improving with the help of teachers.

If your daughter is interested in academics, St Rita's can be beneficial. Most girls do very well. However, if your child is interested in other areas, such as the arts, don't send her to this school.
Their are some gems of teachers, however there are a number of teachers who pick favourites, which can be very detrimental.
In my experiences, I found that this school is too interested in keeping up appearances and places too much importance on aesthetics and not enough on catering to each girls needs and helping their students succeed in whatever they wish to achieve.

Brilliant School, sister Elvera needs to go. But other than that all teachers are exceptional and school is very tight-knit. I would recommend it to anyone

I'm now going to this school. Girls here are all some bitchy and the staffs are not nice at all. Not enough school facilities. I'd love to move away as soon as possible.

I absolutely loved my 3 years at St. Rita's College. I made some great friends. Not many schools can boost such beautiful grounds. I had 2 sister's who also went to St. Rita's and we all enjoyed our time there.

I would recommend St. Rita's to any parent seeking a good Catholic education for their daughter.

I am a past student of St. Rita's having left in 1972. I just love telling people that I was lucky to have gone to such an exceptional Ladies College.

Having lived in the USA for 9 year's I was forever telling my friends about St. Rita's, especially the beautiful grounds. Not many students are lucky enough to go to a school where you can eat your lunch under such magnificent old trees and beautiful grounds instead of boring hot old cement?

Both my older and younger sister feel the same way.

I spent 3 great year's at St. Rita's.
Not many schools have such beautiful grounds. A great school upholding Catholic values. Made many good friends.
Maybe the facilities weren't as good as some other schools, but St. Rita's provided me with a good all round education.
