1957 until 1960. Fondly remember 4 cuts of the cane for missing choir practice and six cuts for jumping off the train. As I remember, probably deserved it!

I love this school. My son has really started to flourish. He has become a very good and smart boy, all thanks to the very good staff and students at Homebush boys high school. And saying all the Lebanese students are disruptive is really uncalled for. It is not only the Lebanese, but it is also some of the other students. This school is amazing.

All of them are unwilling to study students, do not study at all, all of the one race, Lebanese are too disruptive and people cannot study. But it is not all the Lebanese it is only the ones who think they can do anything at anytime. Very bad school i am ashamed of the 383rd ranking we have know from the 73rd ranking in 2008. Horrible reputation in the Homebush Village

This School is amazing. since my daughter started attending i noticed he has been more organised, focused and better behaved. I encourage you to bring your sons to this school because of my stated reason. that is why i love seeing my daughter really learn and improve her life at this school.
Strathfield girls high school, take your sons there.

That's right the enrolment system is a disgrace, they enroll all kinds of rowdy kinds of students, keep out the riffraff I say. How dare a non-selective public school allow anyone to enroll. What a disgrace, a decent public education for all, how unfair is that. Only allow in the good ones, screen out riffraff I say. Do you agree old chap?

Sports, Teaching in some subjects is good. School has few very dedicated teachers. Most of the the teachers are of complaining nature and do not teach properly.
The part to be blamed is of the enrollment process, where they enroll all kinds of rowdy students. And they do not class separation based on student performances especially in the elective subjects.
The school has another problem. It runs without administrators like the deputy principals for the last 1.5 years. They have makeshift, powerless deputies.
