| 評論 | | By Parent - 2021年03月05日, 評價: 很差 | My daughter has been attending Rivendell as an out patient for 8 months and I’ve already written two complainant letters. The first being they had no idea what they were doing and I had to complain to get her assessed.
After the assessment she was diagnosed with OCD and then began therapy for this. I believe if I didn’t push for the assessment they would of never have had her assessed. Therefore mis treating my daughter with the wrong diagnosis.
Secondly, the psychologist and head psychiatrist have shown to be incompetent and treat the children and parents like mushrooms. They are always making mistakes and seem to be unqualified to handle teenagers even though they are meant to be the “” experts in teenagers””
Overall, it is gloomy, badly run and the staff unprofessional. I also believe they are doing more harm than good as written above.
Do not waste your time.

My child also attends this school. I would say that the environment doesn't work for everyone.It certainly hasn't been what I expected or what my child expected. Some of that is to do with a lack of communication between our previous school with us and Rivendell. As for helping with your mental health, the inpatient program might be useful but I have found that the program my child is in has not been of any real help. The teachers are not psychologists so we can't really rely on them to act in that way- they really could do with one in each class at least a couple of times a week. The school as I see it, has really dedicated teachers for the most part but somehow they need to get the kids going to school. A lot of kids aren't attending enough and I wouldn't call them drug dealers. They are just seriously struggling with life in general. I would admit there is not enough monitoring of certain students and how some get away with things in the school is beyond me. I do know teens have this thing about telling teachers about someone's behaviour but if another student reads this,please tell someone in the school. As to the student above my review, even if you aren't at the school anymore you are still entitled to let the school know your experiences and expect some feedback.
