My child keeps being bullied and its been reported and witnessed. Some of it is borderline harrassment. My daughter hates going to school now and has anxiety. When she responds / bursts because she has had enough - its her that gets punished and nothing gets done regarding the bullying. I know of 5 other families who have taken their children out of this school and the turn over of staff is high. From their personal feedback its all the same themes. No support / no action - being told by teachers that kids do silly things and thats normal. Is it normal for my child to have another child slide under the toilet cubical open the door when she was on the toilet have everyone laugh at her then my child is told not to tell anyone or she would get hurt?? Well according to this school the answer is yes. I have brought up that my child is being bullied and she blames my child’s learning difficulties and behaviour. She has also been hung up me and not return my emails. I’m not please with Vicki Richards principle of Newmarket SS my granddaughter has been bullied for last 2 terms or more at this school and the school is doing nothing to help every time you try to talk to her about the bullying that’s happening to my granddaughter she’s says my granddaughter is a drama queen and just passes it of like nothing happening and it’s her fault. Now I have a 9 old granddaughter refusing to go to school and who is thinking she’s not good enough and thinking horrible thoughts. Then when you want to talk Vicki Richards she doesn’t return your calls or hangs up on you what sort of principle is this woman doesn’t she understand the meaning of BULLYING | | |
