this school is absolutely disgusting. This school is a typical example of a trashy country town white Aussie bogan public school.
Education almost doesn't even exist at this school & nobody focuses on studying apart from the people who are in LEAP which is like their program for highly academic people.
This school is overpowered by trashy students that only care about being sexy & popular. Sports, social status/popularity & getting sexual experience is more important to lyneham kids than studying.
Most girls at this school come dressed to school with half their butts & cleavage hanging out & they start immaturely yelling back at teachers that tell them off for it. A lot of the male PE teachers are young uni graduates & they tend to perv on & even flirt with & treat the popular girls better.
Most of the girls at this school get pregnant by 16 & have already lost their virginity by 13 or 14. I don't know what kind of trashy families these kids come from but they obviously come from very low class families.
I'm very embarrassed to have gone to school here. I'm from a big city & have always studied at a private school & my naive family being new to Canberra didn't realise how bad this school was until they sent me here. This school was the reason for all my insecurities & I would have been a more confident & much less traumatised person if I hadn't ever gone to this school.

It's a really good school, and although there are some bum teachers and students (that's always expected with EVERY high school), the programs are really good
