We are two full-time professionals looking for a third housemate to live with us in a bright and spacious three-bedroom bungalow. The bedroom is unfurnished but will comfortably fit a queen-sized bed, desk, wardrobe, etc. The room also has access to the terrace at the front of the house.
The house is fully furnished and has a large open plan living space that includes a loungeroom, dining area and kitchen. It comes with central airconditioning, internal laundry and a backyard. The house is modern with polished timber floorboards, high patterned ceilings, a skylight, two modern bathrooms and a kitchen with a long benchtop, oven and gas stove. Wireless internet is available at a very low cost.
The house is just a few minutes walk to both Marion and Norton Streets. Leichhardt Marketplace, the area's main shopping centre is a five minute stroll and has a Woolworths, Aldi, Trim Fresh, Target, Commonwealth and ANZ branches. Norton Street's restaurants, pubs, boutiques, cafes and cinema are a mere 10-minute walk from the house. The area is serviced by plenty of city-bound buses which reach Central within 20 minutes.
About us! Adam is 30 years old and works in IT. Helen is 29 and works in banking (we are not a couple). We are both pretty easy-going and there is a very relaxed atmosphere in the house. We're looking for a like-minded housemate who is happy to hang out and maybe have a drink or dinner together but we also do our own thing and enjoy our own space. We stay pretty quiet during the week and socialize mostly at the weekends. We're also clean and both do our part to look after the house.
